Kane County Officer of the Year Nomination

Ofc. Jason Richmeier has been nominated for consideration of recognition as the Kane County Officer of the Year.   The Kane County Officer of the Year recognition is an awards recognition hosted by the Kane County Chiefs of Police Association. All law enforcement agencies with Kane County are eligible to submit a nomination.   Ofc. Richmeier has been nominated for this award by Chief Randy Endean.  Chief Endean has stated in his nomination that, “ Jason has proven to be an invaluable asset to the Maple Park Police Department and the community of Maple Park.  Jason Richmeier demonstrates and expresses his pride in being a police officer and a member of the Maple Park Police Department.”

 

The nomination of Ofc. Richmeier was submitted with supporting letter from Maple Park Police Commander James Olsen, Village Administrator Cheryl Aldridge and Maple Park Fire Protection District Chief Ted Peterson.

 

The winner of the award will be selected on March 5, 2026.
