Cloudy Water is Safe to Drink
The Village has received some questions about cloudy water. The cloudiness is the result a number of things:
- Our shallow well has been running since it was rehabilitated earlier this year and it needs a break.
- Hydrants were flushed this week and we needed to switch over to our deep well to prevent triggering low water alarms at the treatment facility.
- The deep well water has been tested and is safe to drink.
The Village plans on rehabilitating our deep well in the near future.
