Village of Maple Park

It’s that time of year again everyone! Golf cart license renewal letters and applications will be mailed out to those residents that have previously submitted for a golf cart license. If you would like to renew a new golf cart, please fill out a Golf Cart License Application that can be found on the website. All golf carts must pass an inspection through the Maple Park Police Department prior to a license being issued.

The schedule for golf cart inspections is as follows:

Friday, April 14^th from 3:00 PM to 7:00 PM

Sunday, April 16^th from 10:00 AM to 3:00 PM

Saturday, April 29^th from 10:00 AM to 3:00 PM

Sunday, April 30^th from 10:00 AM to 3:00 PM

No need to make an appointment, just show up with your application form that includes the inspection form and your golf cart. Once the inspection has been completed, bring both the application form and the completed inspection form with your payment to the Village Clerk’s office and you will be issued your sticker.

Pursuant to the Municipal Solid Waste, Recycling and Yard Waste Agreement between the Village of Maple Park and Waste Management, an annual rate adjustment is scheduled for February 1, 2023.

Effective February 1, 2023 the new monthly rates for service will be:

Monthly Rate                       $23.00

Monthly Senior Rate            $20.83

*Rates include IL Fuel Tax of $0.17 and a fuel surcharge of $1.14

Here is a listing of warming Centers if needed during a power outage. Some of the facilities listed may not be open due to the Christmas Eve and Christmas Day holidays. If safe to travel, you can also stay with family, friends or at a hotel. The Maple Park and Countryside Fire Protection District Fire Station on County Line Road can also be set up as an emergency warming center if needed. If you need assistance please dial 911. Also, remember to check on any elderly relatives or neighbors during the extreme cold.
