**Maple Avenue Reminder**

The Maple Avenue Pavement Project will begin tomorrow, Wednesday, November 1st, 2023.  President Fahnestock is reminding all residents that live on Maple Avenue to please be patient during the next three weeks when the street is being constructed and restored. She also asks everyone to use caution coming in and out of their drive ways.  Please park on the designated streets of Broadway Street, Walnut Avenue, or Settlement Drive. Please note that Waste Management will be working to pick up on Wednesdays, but starting at 6:30 AM, through the length of the project. Please have your toters out early to ensure they are able to pick up.  We have designated a 24-hour emergency contact phone number for you to call in the event of any emergency, the number is (815) 901-3244.  For non-emergency calls between 8:30 AM and 4:30 PM, Monday through Friday, please contact the Village Office at (815) 827-3309.  Thank you for your patience.

ATTENTION WALKERS

The Civic Center Gym will be open for walkers starting Wednesday, November 1, 2023.  The hours will be 8:00 a.m. to 12:00 Noon, Monday – Friday (excluding all Village Holidays) from November 1st to April 30th.  Below are the Gym Walker Procedures.

  • CHANGE SHOES BEFORE WALKING
  • NO STREET SHOES IN GYM 
  • DO NOT ADJUST THERMOSTATS
  • STAY OFF STAGE
  • REPLACE EQUIPMENT WHERE FOUND
  • NO FOOD OR BEVERAGES IN GYM
  • NO SMOKING IN OR AROUND BUILDING

In order to keep the gym floor clean from salt and water that can damage the floor, please bring an extra pair of shoes and change before you walk.

 

Halloween 2023

2023 Trick-or-Treat Hours are from 4:30 p.m. to 7:00 p.m. on Tuesday, October 31, 2023

 

A Halloween Golf Cart Parade is scheduled at 7:00 p.m. on Saturday, October 21, 2023.

Parade Route

Flu Shot Clinic @ Maple Park Civic Center on 9/30/23 9 a.m. – Noon

The Village of Maple Park is partnering with VNA Health to offer a Flu Shot Clinic to residents on Saturday, September 30th from 9AM to Noon at the Maple Park Civic Center (302 Willow Street, Maple Park). Walk-ins are welcome! Please bring a copy of the front and back of your insurance cards.  If you are uninsured the cost is $45.  A check can be made to VNA Health Care.
