**Update – the main break was repaired and all water should now be restored**

We have a water main break at the ball fields, Public Works is working on repairing it.

Garbage service will be delayed by one day this week due to the Fourth of July Holiday.

Cloudy Water is Safe to Drink

The Village has received some questions about cloudy water.  The cloudiness is the result a number of things:

1. Our shallow well has been running since it was rehabilitated earlier this year and it needs a break.
2. Hydrants were flushed this week and we needed to switch over to our deep well to prevent triggering low water alarms at the treatment facility.
3. The deep well water has been tested and is safe to drink.

The Village plans on rehabilitating our deep well in the near future.
